Stoughton Country Club is an ideal location for your wedding and/or wedding reception.  It is our goal to make your event a memorable experience by providing you with exceptional food and service in our attractive, private setting on the shore of beautiful Lake Kegonsa.  Our main dining and reception room will accommodate groups up to 275 guests.  Our Lake Kegonsa Room on the lower level has a full service bar and will comfortably seat 60 guests.  Our service-oriented staff will be happy to assist you in planning your upcoming event.

Featured Venue: Lowertown Event Center

In 1851, Mears Park was known as “Baptist Hill” because members of the First Baptist church chose it as the location for their first chapel. Josh Smith, the owner of the rest of the hill, found the terrain too steep for further building so he donated the land to the city as a park. The hill was leveled and Mears Park was born.
In 1870, Daniel & Charles Noyes bought a small medical company in St. Paul with partner, Edward Cutler, joining the company in 1871. The company grew rapidly and in 1889, Noyes Brothers & Cutler moved into their new building at the corner of 6th & Sibley in Lowertown St. Paul which is where they stayed for over 30 years. Designed by St. Paul architect J. Walter Stevens for $110,000, the Romanesque style five-story building was converted to offices & restaurants in 1971 and renamed Park Square Court.
Opening in August 2013, the beautifully renovated Lowertown Event Center is one of the Twin Cities’ newest & most unique wedding venues. Located in the historic Park Square Court building on Mears Park, the LEC features incredible limestone walls, exposed wood beam ceilings and steel columns. The spacious reception area can seat 250 guests comfortably and the intimate ceremony suite with private client suites attached can accommodate up to 200 guests.

Aristide evokes the beautiful feel of an 18th century Tuscan villa, nestled in two acres of lush gardens and patios. With soaring ceilings, elegant chandeliers, carved wooden doors and authentic hand crafted decor, this Venue creates the perfect setting for your event. You’re probably saying to yourself “A Wedding Ceremony? In a restaurant?!? How is that possible.”

Well, The Loring Pasta Bar is no ordinary restaurant!

The Pasta Bar closes lunch a little early (around 2 PM), the service staff removes all the tables and resets the main room in wedding ceremony configuration. Attendees arrive about 3:30 or 4 PM; if desired the bar is open and a drink is available.

Vows are exchanged on the photogenic V-shaped staircase; perfect sightlines for up to 225 loved ones. The DEED is done, hugs all around, and everyone recesses to the reception in a matter of minutes.  Voila!
